Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy

LIANYU Fencing & Mesh is operated by Chongqing Lianyu Metal Products Co., Ltd. (重庆联宇金属制品有限公司).

LIANYU primarily supplies industrial fencing, mesh, machine-guarding products and related components to business and industrial customers. Many products are made to order, produced to selected specifications, specially packed for export, or customized for a particular project. Returns, cancellations and refunds are therefore handled according to the nature and status of each order.

Order Changes and Cancellations

If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible.

Before production, special procurement, customization, export packing, documentation or freight booking begins, we will review whether the order can be changed or cancelled.

If work has already started, any approved refund may be reduced by reasonable and non-recoverable costs already incurred, including production, materials, special procurement, packing, documentation, handling or freight-related costs.

Made-to-Order and Customized Products

Products that are manufactured, cut, finished, configured, packed or otherwise prepared according to the buyer’s selected dimensions, specifications, drawings, quantities or project requirements are generally not returnable for change-of-mind reasons after production has begun, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Standard Products

For standard, non-customized products, return eligibility will depend on the condition of the goods, order status, return reason, transport arrangements and applicable law.

Do not return any goods without prior written authorization from LIANYU.

Damaged, Defective, Short or Non-Conforming Goods

Please inspect the shipment promptly after delivery.

If any goods appear to be damaged in transit, defective, short in quantity, or materially different from the written quotation, pro forma invoice, order confirmation or approved specification, contact us promptly and provide:

- the order or quotation reference;
- the affected product and quantity;
- photographs and/or video;
- photographs of the external and internal packaging where relevant;
- shipping or delivery documents where relevant; and
- a clear description of the problem.

Please keep the affected goods and packaging available for inspection until we advise otherwise.

After review, an appropriate remedy may include replacement parts, repair, remake, credit, partial refund or refund, depending on the circumstances and the written transaction terms.

Return Authorization

Goods must not be returned without written return authorization and return instructions from LIANYU.

Unauthorized returns may be refused.

Return Freight, Customs and Third-Party Charges

Responsibility for return freight, import/export charges, customs fees, brokerage fees, bank charges and other third-party costs depends on the reason for the return and the written agreement between the parties.

Import duties, VAT/GST, destination charges, customs charges or other amounts already paid to governments, carriers, payment providers or other third parties may not be recoverable by LIANYU.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will normally be made using the original payment method where reasonably possible, or another method agreed in writing.

Actual processing time depends on the bank, payment provider, payment method and country.

Business-to-Business Orders

For purchases made in the course of a trade, business, profession or industrial activity, there is no general change-of-mind return right unless such a right is expressly agreed in writing or required by applicable law.

Mandatory Consumer Rights

If you purchase as a consumer and mandatory consumer-protection law applies to your transaction, nothing in this policy excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

For certain consumer distance-sales transactions, statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights may apply. Certain categories of goods, including goods made to order or clearly personalized, may be excluded from such rights where permitted by applicable law.

Where mandatory law gives the customer greater rights than this policy, the mandatory law prevails.
