TERMS OF SERVICE

Last updated: September 14, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LIANYU Fencing & Mesh website and your purchase of products or services from us.

LIANYU Fencing & Mesh is operated by Chongqing Lianyu Metal Products Co., Ltd. (重庆联宇金属制品有限公司), located in Chongqing, China.

By accessing this website, submitting an inquiry, requesting a quotation, placing an order, or purchasing products from us, you agree to these Terms, together with any quotation, pro forma invoice, order confirmation, product specification, shipping terms, and other written agreement applicable to your transaction.

1. Our Business

LIANYU supplies industrial fencing, wire mesh, machine-guarding products, access doors, posts, connectors, hardware, accessories and related products.

Our website is designed primarily for business, industrial, commercial and professional customers.

Some products are standard products. Others may be made to order, manufactured to selected dimensions or quantities, customized, specially packed for export, or prepared according to project requirements.

2. Website Information

We aim to keep product information, dimensions, specifications, descriptions, photographs and pricing accurate and up to date.

However, product photographs are illustrative unless expressly identified as representing the exact ordered configuration.

Minor differences in appearance, color, finish, dimensions, packaging or production details may occur due to manufacturing processes, material batches, display settings or reasonable production tolerances.

Where information on the website conflicts with a written quotation, pro forma invoice, approved drawing, order confirmation or written specification issued by LIANYU for a specific transaction, the transaction-specific written document takes priority.

3. Product Suitability

Customers are responsible for reviewing whether a product is suitable for the intended application, site, equipment, environment and local regulatory requirements.

For machine guarding and industrial safety applications, final safety distances, layouts, access arrangements, interlocks, structural requirements and regulatory compliance must be assessed for the actual installation.

Unless expressly agreed in writing, website information does not constitute engineering certification, regulatory approval or a guarantee that a particular product satisfies every legal, safety or technical requirement in the buyer's country or project.

4. Prices

Unless otherwise stated, website prices are displayed in United States dollars (USD).

Displayed product prices cover the listed product configuration and the China-side export preparation allowance described on the relevant product page or quotation.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, displayed prices do not include:

- international freight;
- import duties or tariffs;
- VAT, GST, sales tax or similar destination taxes;
- customs-clearance charges;
- destination-port or terminal charges;
- customs brokerage;
- destination storage or inspection charges;
- local delivery after arrival; or
- other destination-country charges.

Small shipments may also require shipment-level origin handling, documentation, packing, consolidation or other charges that cannot economically be allocated to a single unit.

Before shipment, we may provide a separate freight quotation, export quotation or estimated landed-cost calculation based on the quantity, destination and shipping method.

5. Quotations and Estimated Landed Costs

Freight rates, customs costs, taxes and other third-party charges can change rapidly.

Any freight quotation, landed-cost estimate, duty estimate, transit-time estimate or similar calculation is based on information available at the time and is not final unless expressly confirmed in writing.

Final shipping and destination charges may depend on:

- total quantity;
- actual gross weight and volume;
- packing method;
- destination country;
- city, ZIP/postal code or port;
- shipping method;
- carrier rates;
- customs classification;
- government charges;
- currency movements; and
- other logistics conditions.

6. Orders and Acceptance

Adding a product to the cart, submitting an inquiry or sending a purchase request does not by itself require LIANYU to accept an order.

An order becomes binding when LIANYU expressly accepts it through an order confirmation, pro forma invoice, written confirmation, payment acceptance or other clear written acceptance.

We may decline or request changes to an order if, for example:

- product information is incomplete;
- specifications are unclear;
- shipping is not commercially practical;
- pricing or product information contains an obvious error;
- export or import restrictions apply;
- payment requirements are not met; or
- the requested transaction presents legal, safety or compliance concerns.

7. Specifications and Customer Approval

Customers are responsible for checking product specifications, dimensions, quantities, drawings, colors, finishes and other order details before confirming an order.

Where drawings, production specifications or samples are submitted for approval, production may proceed based on the approved information.

Changes requested after approval or after production has begun may result in additional cost or delay.

8. Payment

Payment terms will be stated in the applicable quotation, pro forma invoice, order confirmation or other written agreement.

Production, procurement, packing or shipment may be withheld until the agreed payment conditions are satisfied.

Bank charges, intermediary-bank charges, payment-provider charges or currency-conversion costs may be allocated according to the written transaction terms.

9. Production and Lead Times

Production and lead times are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.

Lead times may begin only after all required conditions are satisfied, including, where applicable:

- receipt of payment or deposit;
- confirmation of specifications;
- approval of drawings;
- confirmation of quantities;
- availability of materials; and
- completion of required customer information.

Lead times may change because of material availability, production capacity, national holidays, logistics disruption, force majeure or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

10. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping arrangements depend on the agreed transaction.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, international freight and destination costs are quoted separately.

Delivery dates and transit times are estimates and may be affected by carriers, ports, customs authorities, weather, inspections, congestion or other events beyond our control.

Where an Incoterm is stated in the written quotation, pro forma invoice, sales contract or order confirmation, the agreed Incoterm and named place will govern the allocation of shipping costs, risk and responsibilities to the extent applicable.

If no Incoterm is expressly agreed, shipping responsibilities will be determined by the written transaction documents and applicable law.

11. Customs, Import Compliance and Taxes

The buyer is responsible for providing accurate destination and import information.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, the buyer is responsible for destination-country import procedures, duties, VAT/GST, taxes, permits, customs-clearance obligations and other destination requirements.

HS codes, duty rates or customs estimates provided by LIANYU are for reference unless formally confirmed for the specific shipment.

Final tariff classification and customs treatment may be determined by customs authorities.

12. Inspection and Claims

Customers should inspect shipments promptly after delivery.

If goods appear damaged, defective, short in quantity or materially non-conforming, please contact us promptly and provide reasonable supporting evidence, including photographs, video, packaging images, shipping documents and a description of the issue.

Do not discard damaged goods or packaging until the matter has been reviewed where inspection may be required.

Claims will be handled in accordance with our Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy and the written transaction terms.

13. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

Returns, refunds, exchanges and order cancellations are governed by our Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy.

Because many industrial products are made to order, produced in selected dimensions or quantities, customized or specially prepared for export, change-of-mind returns may not be available after production or special procurement begins.

Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the website content, branding, text, graphics, layout, product data organization and original materials published by LIANYU are owned by or licensed to Chongqing Lianyu Metal Products Co., Ltd.

You may use product information for legitimate purchasing, engineering review or internal business evaluation.

You may not reproduce substantial portions of our website for misleading, fraudulent or unauthorized commercial use.

Customer drawings, technical information and project materials submitted to us remain subject to the customer's rights and will be used for quotation, production, supply and related business purposes.

15. Third-Party Services

Our website may use Shopify and other third-party payment, logistics, analytics, communications or technology providers.

Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

LIANYU is not responsible for independent third-party services outside our reasonable control.

16. Prohibited Use

You must not use this website or our services:

- for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
- to provide false identity, shipping or customs information;
- to violate export-control, sanctions, customs or import laws;
- to interfere with the website's security or operation;
- to infringe the rights of others; or
- to order products for prohibited or unlawful applications.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LIANYU is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or purely economic losses arising from a transaction, including loss of profit, production, opportunity or business interruption, except where such limitation is prohibited by law or liability has been expressly accepted in writing.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

18. Force Majeure

LIANYU will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, fire, severe weather, epidemic or public-health events, war, civil disturbance, government action, sanctions, strikes, power interruption, port congestion, carrier disruption, customs action, shortages of materials or transportation interruption.

Where reasonably possible, we will communicate material delays and work with the customer on available alternatives.

19. Business-to-Business Transactions

Where the buyer purchases products in the course of a trade, business, profession or industrial activity, the written quotation, pro forma invoice, order confirmation, approved specification and other negotiated terms form part of the transaction agreement.

If there is a conflict between these general Terms and transaction-specific written terms agreed by LIANYU, the transaction-specific written terms take priority for that transaction.

20. Mandatory Consumer Rights

If you purchase as a consumer and mandatory consumer-protection law applies, nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Where mandatory law provides greater protection than these Terms, the mandatory law prevails.

21. Applicable Law and Disputes

The applicable law, dispute-resolution method and jurisdiction may be specified in the quotation, pro forma invoice, sales contract or other written transaction agreement.

Where no specific arrangement has been agreed, applicable law and jurisdiction will be determined according to the laws and mandatory rules governing the transaction.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business, products, website, legal requirements or operating practices.

The version applicable to an accepted order will be determined by the terms and documents in effect or specifically agreed for that transaction.
